A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael Blum grew up on the west side of town, attending Elder High School and then the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, achieving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic Media.Shortly after graduation, Michael worked for Fox 19 Television in Cincinnati in television news and production through September 11, 2001.In August 2003, Mr. Blum began his 20-year career with Kenton County for their Public Library system.Primarily working in Public Relations and Development, he worked on special projects and events like the Racing To Read 5K Run and Walk, the Taste of Kenton County, the Artists' Book Benches Project, and many other endeavors.
Michael has won numerous awards, including 3 Telly Awards, 6 Blue Chip Awards, and multiple Emmy award nominations for the Roebling Bridge 150th Anniversary.
In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and his rescue dog, Raylen, and traveling to the beaches of Northwest Florida.
