OUR 17TH ANNUAL GEORGE KNITTLE MEMORIAL BAYLEY GOLF CLASSIC
HAS BEEN POSTPONED. THE NEW DATE IS MONDAY, MAY 17TH, 2021
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THEN!

We regret to announce that our largest annual fundraiser, the George Knittle Memorial Golf Classic, has been postponed until May 17, 2021. Our top priority is always the safety and wellbeing of our residents, supporters, and staff, and we have made the decision based on current safety mandates.

A message from Bill Hemmer of Fox News, founder of the event:

"To those who support the work of Bayley, a note of encouragement and hope. When families are pressed against the window of a nursing center, trying to get as close as possible to their loved ones, the vulnerability of our seniors is more evident than ever. When we see those pictures, consider the loneliness on the other side of the glass. When the clouds of uncertainty pass, those windows will be thrown open. The fresh breeze of a new day will blow through.  And when we meet again for the Bayley Golf Classic, we will be a family made stronger. Until then, thank you for your long time support of Bayley and the seniors of our community."

Regards,

Bill Hemmer

Unfortunately, this postponement will leave us with a significant funding gap at a time when expenses for staffing and supplies are higher than usual. If you would like to make a contribution to help us bridge this gap, there is a donation option titled "Donation for Funding Gap from Our Postponed Golf Outing" on the Giving To Bayley section of our website. Your donation will help us to provide support for seniors who need our comfort and care, now more than ever. We truly appreciate your generosity.
